A full length play for a mixed age cast of 5 people (2 women and 3 men.)  Widower Tommy Mooney has been the maintenance man at Riversfield House for most of his working life and lives close by in a cottage on the estate.  His daughter Judith works as a maid in the house, but lives in.  The lady of the house, Mrs Cusack, is a widow and is very good friends with the bishop who is a regular caller.

Her son, Mark Cusack visits from New Zealand and becomes close to Judith.  But nothing is as it seems.  Is Tommy really Judith’s father?  Does Mark really want a romance with Judith?  Could Mrs Cusack and Tommy have a secret?  Is the Bishop as pure as he’d like everyone to think?  My Papa is a farcical romp of table turning events where the workers eventually become the masters.  It also prods the fragile veneer of Irish snobbery and chastity and beneath the surface finds a hotbed of lust, homosexuality and saucy bed hopping secrets.
